02How credits work

One unit for everything Avi does, and a few simple rules.

A quarter of a cent each

$1 buys 400 credits. AI is metered per token at each model's own rate, so a fast model costs a fraction of a frontier one; a typical chat turn runs 20–120 credits.

One rule for every credit

Free, monthly and upgrade credits alike expire at the end of the month after they arrive, and Avi always spends the ones that expire soonest first.

Upgrades now, downgrades at renewal

An upgrade charges the difference between the two monthly prices and adds the difference in credits right away. A downgrade waits for your next renewal. There are no one-off top-ups.

Limits on automations

Every automation has a max daily spend — 40,000 credits ($100) by default, or lower if you set one. Reaching it stops the automation until you raise the limit or resume it.
